Into Autumn we go! Although we don't want to say goodbye to the sunshine just yet, we're both getting a little bit excited to start wearing cute knits and curling up in front of a cosy fire with a good book. There's something magical about the change of the seasons, especially Autumn, and we're here to help you navigate some classic key looks to take you right through to Winter.
1. The Trench Coat
The classic French touch. I've owned the same one for years now, its such a good investment piece. A timeless addition to your wardrobe, its perfect for milder days but can see you right through winter by adding a chunky knit underneath.
This year I'm going to be pairing mine with a vintage silk neck scarf for a pop of colour.

2. The Bright Knit
As the mornings start to get that little bit darker, a brightly coloured knit can only help to lift your mood and elevate your favourite jeans to a smarter look. Add heels for a sophisticated edge, throw on your trench and you're good to go.
3. The Cargo Pant
Anyone of a certain age will remember All Saints rocking their huge cargo pants in the 90's. Whether you're looking for a more relaxed silhoutte or kicking things up with a more glam look, cargo pants are definitely still on the fashion agenda for Autumn 2022. The modern look has a more nipped in waist and straighter leg line, we think our BENNI combats look great with a slouchy sweater and heels.

4. The Classic Blazer
A great solution when there's a chill in the air but you don't want to look too wintery. Plus, they're a perfect addition for elevating your outfits into something a little bit smarter without looking like you've tried too hard. We love the look of a vintage blazer paired with straight leg jeans and some bright, strappy, heeled sandals while we can still wear them.
5. The Chunky Sweater
When styling a chunky sweater, keep the rest of your outfit minimal so that the jumper does the talking. Pair with some pleather trousers or a long floaty skirt for that wonderful juxtoposition of textures. Adding boots or simple heels will look wonderful with this look.

6. The Great Everyday Dress
A classic staple in both our wardrobes, we truly believe you can't go wrong owning a really good dress. Great paired down for a casual look with trainers or add knee high boots and a sweater once the weather turns.

7. The Lightweight Jacket
A lightweight belted jacket feels so fresh and up to date right now. Our BILL 'worker' style jacket comes in the softest mid blue denim, easy to wear and lightweight enough to pack into your bag if it gets too warm. Wearing head to toe is stylistically simple - you could even go triple denim on denim for a very 2022 look, pair with our CHERI shirt and just finish the look with some cute Mary Jane shoes. You'll fall in love with it like I did - it goes with almost all the other items in my wardrobe.

As Second Hand September rolls on, I think its fair to say that Hannah and myself are dedicated second hand shoppers, we love the joy of finding a unique item, pairing vintage with high street is just our thing.
