The warmer weather has started getting us all excited for summer and if you’re anything like us, its finally time to take your feet out of your WFH comfy slippers and give them some much needed TLC.
Now, we’re not entirely sure how the land lies for a holiday this year but that won’t stop us from lusting over hotter climes and exotic adventures.
With that in mind, here’s our roundup of Summer 2021’s most sought after styles.
Flatform Flip Flops
Upgrade your usual flip flops this year to a platform pair, they’re all over Instagram right now and the trend looks set to continue throughout the coming months. M&S have this pair crafted out of leather, featuring platform soles and we can testify first hand just how amazing they are in real life.
Available in black, tan & white, these are sure to go with every summer outfit you could imagine, from wide-leg denim to slinky skirt.

Sporty
Chunky sandals are back for yet another season, from Velcro dad sandals, to fisherman caged styles. We love this playful pair from Iconic brand Teva. Their classic universal printed sandal features an easy, comfortable design for all-day wear. Brownie points as they are made with Eco-Conscious Design, a process aimed at consciously reducing their overall footprint. Great for throwing on along with our Ana Dress (currently in our reductions section) after a day at the beach.
Strappy
We love a dainty, barely there, classic strappy sandal, they’re often my go to choice on those balmy holiday evenings. & Other Stories have these tan leather ones available featuring a squared-toe with wooden block heel and criss-cross straps that tie-up around the ankle. Pair with our Liza skirt (currently in our reductions section) and Andi T shirt for a grown up casual look.
Mules
From kitten to chunky, block heeled, mules are a versatile choice which can elevate any summer dress to the next level. This affordable pair are from H&M and feature imitation leather with an assymetric foot strap. Elevate our Debi trousers for a look more sophisticated style.
Birkenstocks
We can’t do a round up of sandals without finishing with these perennial superhero sandals. Whether shearling lined, suede clog form, or just the plain old Arizona - Birkenstocks are classic, cool & comfortable. You can wear them all day whilst not sacrificing anything in the style stakes.
