Le Lip Tint

After being gifted one of these for Christmas recently by my sister in law, I'm now officially hooked on the brand French Girl Organics. Not only is the packaging understated but beautiful, all products are made exclusively with organic, sustainable ingredients plus they're entirely vegan. This lip balm is just lovely, made with organic, wildcrafted pure plant oils, butters and waxes - leaving your lips wonderfully moisturized with a subtle pop of colour.

Damien Hirst Exhibition London

We're really hoping to find time to go and see this fascinating exhibition at Newport Street Gallery in the next few weeks. Entitled End of a Century it features over 50 works from Damien's early days as a student in the 1980's to becoming one of Britain's leading artists. There are previously undisplayed works alongside more well known pieces such as the iconic 'Formaldehydes'. The exhibition runs until the 7th March 2022.

To Paradise, Hanya Yanahigara

If any of you have previously read A Little Life like myself and Hannah then you'll be as excited as we are to read the new novel by acclaimed author Hanya Yanahigara. To Paradise follows three different stories all united by their setting - a townhouse in Washington Square, Greenwich Village, New York in 1893, 1993 and 2093. The stories weave illness, wealth, squalor, fear, shame and overall love.

Thinking of eating a little bit healthier now that Christmas is out of the way? This recipe from BBC Good Food ticks all the right boxes of delicious, healthy yet comforting food. You can even make it meat free by swapping out the lamb for more vegetables or lentils 👌.

Last but not least, we spent quite a lot of our Christmas down time watching Disney's Get Back and still feel a bit emotional about it. Directed by Peter Jackson this three part documentary shows The Beatles 'Let it Be' from start to finish, including all the laughs and the lows. (George leaves the band at one point 😫). Considering it was always portrayed as the worst of times for the band, it actually shows a lot of love still there and an immense amount of creativity between all four members.
If this was them at their worst I wish we could see them writing St Peppers....
