W&W Wardrobe - Fashion's yellow moment

Millennial pink might be everywhere but now its the turn of sunny yellow to take centre stage in fashion circles.  As summer looks like its finally here (yey!) maybe yellow could be an option I thought?

As someone who rarely wears colour, and has no yellow in their wardrobe, I thought at first it was not for me.

But taking a look online at what's out there, maybe yellow could fit into my wardrobe? Here's my favourite picks right now.

As you might expect Zara is hot on the yellow trend and its current stock online is full of summery hues.

This two-tone striped asymmetrical dress would look amazing on holiday with tan leather flats and co-ordinating pina colada .

This halterneck dress has a dark top half which I find easier to wear, and its pretty print skirt is  suitable  for work or summer holidays.

Fresh as a gelato, this ice-cream two tone maxi is less of a hit in the eye but would look great with a tan for a summer wedding.

If, like me, you are more of a trousers gal these palazzo pants from are a gorgeous print in mustard, and I would never have thought to pair them with pink but equally a navy tee and flat sandals would look casual and stylish for a summer night out.

Mango Committed uses organic natural colours and fabrics and has a lovely two piece trouser set, complete with button back vest, which I'd happily wear for work with black sandals and bag.

Over at H&M, this retro buttery lemon bikini with tortoiseshell details is just the type of thing I love when its day 5 of my hols and I've picked up a tan.

Yellow looks fab with denim, so I'll definitely be buying these satin slides to pair with cropped flare jeans for a bit of colour to my weekend trip to the supermarket.

Might be getting carried away here, but this shimmery Mac shadow now looks totally doable, and layered with my usual neutral brown eyeliner would make my eyes feel all summer nights.

So Hannah and I are busy working on the high summer collection, but we are already on the yellow trend at Watson & White.

Our DEBBIE metallic knit is a great yellow choice for those who don't want to scream but love a little golden glow.

What better to wear with yellow and a tan is golden jewellery, and these AERIN earrings would match any of the picks I've chosen here.

Enjoy the sunshine!
